Compared with the Zagat Las Vegas Guide, which is very up-to-date, the Michelin isn't worth picking up if someone has dropped it on the sidewalk!

This guide is filled with anachronisms. Two examples leap to mind: the LV Hilton promises to be popular with Trekkies because of the Star Trek Experience (closed on Sept 1st, but the pending closing was announced months before). It lists the Orleans showroom hosting such comedians as George Carlin (who passed away in June). I understand that publishing takes time, but if you're going to put out an annual guidebook, it should be as cutting-edge as possible.

Also, the book feels piecemeal. It mentions a little about a lot of places (off-Strip and Downtown dining, etc), but doesn't really go the full length on any category. It could stand to be more comprehensive, and about twice the length.
