Michelin 2009 France Guide- Red
Michelin 2009 France (Michelin Red Guide: France) Excellent purchase. Nicely done, as is always the case with Michelin guides. A definite must for anyone even thinking about visiting France.

Michelin Guide 2009 France
The guide, as usual, gives useful info and prices for many, many French hotels and restaurants. There are quite a few changes from 2008 (which is by now pretty obsolete.) With all the on-line info about accomodations, the Michelin is less of a necessity today. Also, Michelin tends to keep ratings at previous levels for properties which are slipping or have slipped.

This was our first look at the Guide. How fantastique! So comprehensive. Almost too much information. We're really looking forward to giving it a workout in October 2009. It's been immeasurably helpful in planning and rest and relaxation around the provinces of France.
