Product Description

The MICHELIN LTX MS2 combines all-season traction and a smooth, quiet ride into a long-lasting tire perfect for pickups, vans and SUVs that get a lot of highway miles. Special rubber compounds and outstanding water evacuation help it stop quickly and handle well regardless of the weather. When conditions do turn bad, the tread’s increase in biting edges give you more grip. Michelin’s MaxTouch Construction maximizes the tire’s contact with the road, spreading out pressure and improving acceleration, braking, cornering and wear.

This is the first time I have ever purchased tires on line and I am very satisfied with the outcome.
The tires were exactly what I wanted and I was able to purchase them at a lower price than anywhere else, and was able to get them mounted at a tire store in a very short time.

I'm not aware of a better tire on the planet. The last set of these were driven for 80,000 miles. This set will outlast the Suburban I'm thinking. You pay more up front but the return is at least 200%. They really are all weather. You won't go wrong with this tire.

Had a set of Michelin LTX M/S tires on my truck and they rotted before I could wear them out, was very well pleased.
Got a new set of the M/S2, I'm sure they are good tires and will last a long time but they have one problem.
I read somewhere they have the new wider groove that want let little rocks wedge inside the grooves. Well that is true, little rocks don't wedge between the grooves, big rocks do. I live with a gravel driveway and there are rocks bigger than a marble getting stuck. When these rocks come out at highway speeds you know it!
Bring back the narrower grooves, other than that great tires.

I own a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee. When my OE tires wore out I purchased Michelin tires and have been loyal to the brand for the past 16 years.

I love these tires. My Mercury Mountaineer came with a brand new set of these. I pulled them off when 75% worn with about 40k miles on them for a new set of Yokohama Geolander. (Less costly) They wore and dried out in 30k miles. My original set of Michelin are still on my vintage Ford pickup and still in better shape. These Michelin tires are more expensive but I believe a better value.
