I am a Michelin man. All three of my cars have them as do my two motorcycles.
Michelin offers the best value in tires and the best wet-weather performance on the market.
You can buy cheaper tires that will last half as long but when you factor in the cost to two sets of cheap tires to one set of Michelins, sales tax, disposal fees, mounting and balancing, valve stems and the inconvenience of waiting at the tire store for hours (twice), the Michelins are cheaper. If that doesn't convince you then the performance on wet roads should. All tires are more or less equal on dry roads. When the roads get wet, Michelin tires stick.
I have had Michelins on my Hondas, Nissan truck and Toyota trucks and have never gotten less than 60k miles out of a set. The Hydroedge model I routinely got 75K-80K miles out of them and they would still pass a state inspection.
These LTX M/S2 I purchased through Amazon were for my '06 Toyota Tundra crew cab. I purchased new OEM TPMS sensors since the original sensors were 7 years old. Installed new sensor with new tires and had new sensors programmed at the dealer ($100). Immediately drove 1600 miles to Denver for Thanksgiving. Ride is smooth and quiet. Performed well on wet roads (melted snow) not so well on ice but no tire would in the mountains without chains. I didn't get stuck:)
I am happy with the purchase and will buy another set in about 50-60K miles.

I has taken local bids for new tires on my SUV using this tire. The LOWEST bid I got was 1200 for four tires installed. I ordered four of these online, they delivered in three days, I took them to my tire shop and had them installed for 75 bucks- total cost $873. This is definitely the way I will be buying tires in the future! Michelin tire quality is unquestionable- these are the top of the line.

These tires are excellent on my Toyota Tacoma. They are quiet on the highway and track unbelievably straight . You will not be disappointed with these michelins.

When the tires arrived, and I compared them to the ones I had been driving on, I was shocked at the difference. These are probably the best tires we've ever bought. I'll be less afraid to drive in nasty weather this winter! Hurray!

Came in on time and in budget! There are cheaper tires but if these perform as promised (better than the AT 2s I had will be well pleased. Bought a set for other car too and she raves about new car (@180,000 miles).
