I just reviewed the 2010 edition of this guidebook, and gave it only 2 stars. I thought perhaps it was only fair to go back and comment on this earlier edition, which is so much better but doesn't have any reviews. This 2006 edition is much easier to use than the newer one (they've changed the organization in the later edition), and has a much better index, along with 100 more pages of useful information.

I have always really liked the Michelin Guides, but am disturbed by the trend of dumbing down information in their guidebooks. If you want a Michelin Guide for Languedoc, I suggest you buy this one and hope that the trend reflected in the 2010 edition will be reversed in future years. The older book may not have the most up to date information on prices and hours, but I'd rather have more complete information and check online for the visitor information.
