Book Description

Mitch Uncle Boney was born a skeleton and has a terrible name. In this novella we learn of Mitch's upbringing and his entry into the working world of an adult.
Things seem to be going OK until he tries to rent a room in his house. The result is threatening phone calls and letters, drinking binges, violence, new friendships and an ever growing tally of enemies.
Life is never simple, but when you are a skeleton in today's world nothing is simple at all.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Kind of Suspended Disbelief July 30, 2013
By Melinda
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I truly enjoyed this book. It reminded me very much of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Not that it was derivative in any way; its just that it called for the same suspension of disbelief that made Benjamin Button so compelling. The author managed to create a world in which the title character could not only exist, but where he could also realistically interact with the people all around him. That is extraordinary, given that the character is a living skeleton.

By the end of the book I almost believed that Mitch exists somewhere in Ireland. I actually wish he did.
