My primary requirement is a "bleed valve," so I can use the tire gauge to bleed excess inflation to achieve the desired pressure.

With this gauge, I can figure it out how to use it intuitively -- without the necessity to read the instructions (more than once.)
(Ed. I will not use any device that I cannot figure out by just using it.)

This a superb tire gauge.
Easy to use.
Excellent display.

I do not care about the programmable feature(s) -- but the programmable feature(s) do work.

It is difficult finding a reasonably priced air pressure gauge. Many just don't want to attach and let more air out. It may take several attempts before the gauge "seats" properly. Not this one! It seats first time and is extremely accurate. I now have two of them: one for my Mustang and another for my Edge.

While I find it a little too expensive, this gauge does compare favorably to others in price. I bought it to replace older gauges which have seen better days and it took only one use to like this one. It's very simple to use, no bells or whistles, with all the basics you'd expect in a digital gauge. The bleed valve is useful only if you want to let out a very small amount of air because it's that slow. However this is not a negative because you really don't want a speedy bleed valve.
What impressed me the most was the way it sat on the valve from first use. Other gauges I've used usually let air out before seating properly and before giving a proper reading, resulting in the need to re-inflate the tire. This one seats perfectly and I suspect it's because the size of the gauge is just right (unlike other views expressed) and that the nozzle is straight. From personal experience, I know that angled nozzles do reduce the overall size of the gauge but they are less efficient and this unit proves that to me.
The display is so easy to read, I already know I won't miss my old talking gauge. I really don't care about the settings so I can't say how useful is that feature.
There are two reasons for my 4 star rating. Firstly, I cannot speak to longevity which I will do at the appropriate time. Secondly, for the price, this unit should really come with a case.

I've grown to like this gauge the more I use it. It does seem very accurate when I compare
with another dial gauge I have. It did seem like the batteries were low when I got it because
the display was not clear when viewed slightly off angle. New batteries, which I had, didn't
make a difference to this, still easy to read anyway. You have to push it dead straight onto the valve
stem, but it gives and holds an accurate reading. Bleed value is slightly useful.

Best feature is that in little or no light, the display is so bright you can still use it in near complete
darkness if you can find your valve stem. Will light up the tire area from just the display.

Fits nicely in the palm of your hand so it is easy to use overall.

As a hypermiler who has to frequently change tire pressure depending on road surface (+15 psi over recommended highway down to +5 psi city), I was eager to use this gauge (daily/weekly) because of the bleed valve. Yet, the bleed valve releases only a minuscule amount of air when fully seated on the valve stem (perhaps 5% of the air volume compared to pushing directly on the valve). The bleed volume increases when the user pulls back from the valve stem but this seems like a design flaw because the user is not precisely controlling the air volume at that point.

Maybe I am being a bit picky, but my understanding of the gauge before purchase was that I could mere keep the gauge in one location/configuration whether measuring or bleeding. From that perspective, this product disappoints.

This Michelin tire gauge was delivered on time in new condition. It works very well and I do like the air bleed valve that you don't see on a lot of these devices. My only minor concern is the size. It is a bit larger then I expected compaired to other tire gauge's but because this wasn't an issue with me, I gave it a 5 star rating.

I like this gauge. Turns on automatically when you press it onto the valve, gets consistent (and I'm assuming accurate) readings from each tire, and seems solidly built. The bleed function works but not very quickly. This is good if you only need to bleed out 0.5 PSI, but I just use a screwdriver tip on the valve if I need to let out any sizeable amount of air from the tires.

I usually keep my air gauges in my vehicle for quick easy access, makes sense right. Well I'm finding that when compared to bluepoint tire gauges that the readings are skewed by up to 3 psi when used after being inside a hot car. It starts reading more accurately when it has cooled back down to operating temperatures. Other than that, It's a pretty sturdy little gauge.
