4.0 out of 5 stars 2nd Edition, November 30, 2005
This review is from: Michigan: The Great Lakes State: An Illustrated History (Hardcover)
Very nice book, and beautifully packaged. Note that this book is essentially a duplicate of the book by George May, published in 1987.

The differences are that there are three new chapters written by the co-author, and there are some editorial differences in the text. This would be a good book to purchase for those libraries who need to replace a dilapidated 1987 edition, or for those interested in the new chapters added to the original book.

George May's work is always worth reading.
