Pediatric (Neonatal) Excellence, January 29, 2009
This review is from: The Michigan Manual of Neonatal Intensive Care, 3e (Paperback)
At the CHILDREN's Pediatrics Center we are always searching for sources to guide us in our stride to provide Pediatric Excellence for our patients. The Neonatologist in Chief at Michigan, Dr. Steven M. Donn, along with the Chief of Newborn Care, Dr. Robert Schumacher, here share why they are able to achieve such tremendous success with the highest acuity unit anywhere on the University of Michigan Hospital campus. This Manual, from the original HOLDEN NICU Hospital, and the CS MOTT CHILDREN's HOSPITAL (both leading pediatric research centers at the UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN) provides clear and concise neonatal intensive care advice. Having trained and worked by the side of both Dr Steven and Dr Bob, I have seen why their NICU has such fantastic outcome data, notwithstanding the high-acuity of their patients. The HOLDEN NICU has M&M numbers that are to be envied. I am please to recommend "The Michigan Manual of Neonatal Intensive Care" to any unit who would have such an incredible record for neonatal care. Congrats to Dr. Donn and his team for on a job well done ... and thanks for sharing with the rest of us your skill and knowledge in the art and science of pediatric medicine.
Sincerely: Michael G. Anderson, MD, FAAP, Pediatrician in Chief, CHILDREN'S Pediatrics Center East Main, Canton, Georgia, [...]
