5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Read
Ok, I don't want to say this book is haunted, but this is my 4th attempt to leave a review, and whenever I do it shuts down my AOL.

Written in a straighforward style, believers and skeptics alike will appreciate the thoroughness behind every story. The author doesn't embellish; she lets the stories stand on their own - and this just makes them spookier...

3.0 out of 5 stars Fun if you like travel and ghost stories
This is a charming little book that is part travel guide, part ghost story. The history of each property is described, followed by short eyewitness accounts of the strange events at that location. Since these are all "public" places, (inns, etc.) you could go on a tour with this book as your guide. If you are interested in historic properties in Michigan, or looking for a...

This history of Michigan is a good camp fire or lights dim and nobody home book. Some scary, others weird and interesting.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Read: Ghost Stories of Real Places, December 22, 2009
This review is from: Michigan's Most Haunted, A Ghostly Guide to the Great Lakes State (Perfect Paperback)
Really enjoyed this book. In particular, the author describes ghost sightings and strange happenings of real locations. Unlike most ghost stories that change names and leave out the property's address this one provides you with the stories and details so you can visit the places for yourself.

Written in conversation tone, it is an easy read that leaves readers wanting to explore for themselves. Looking forward to her next book.
