These "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" books are better than you'd expect. Like the television show, they teach as well as entertain. Each one, in fact, has a Parent's Page at the back, offering tips on how to help your youngster grasp the concepts in the text.

This one, subtitled "An Adventure in Shadows and Shapes," teaches kids the names of basic shapes as it tells a story of Mickey and his friends taking a hot-air balloon ride. As they float over their clubhouse and the surrounding lands, they spot hearts, triangles, rectangles and squares. Later, they learn to find their way home by noticing which way their shadows fall on the ground.

My daughter has fallen in love with the new Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, so of course we got this book. I was impressed that it not only offered a cute story, but learning activities like shapes and counting. There are multiple areas where you can have your child look harder and find new things on each page plus great recommendations at the end of the book on how to utilize the book for full learning potential. Wonderful book, I'll be looking for more of these. 8)

A great book for any fan of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse TV show. My daughter loves to look at this book while watching the show.

I'm in total agreement with everything said in the review given by "HappyShopper". I bought this book for my two-year old son as a X-mas present as he loves the Mickey Mouse show on t.v. After looking over several books on the Amazon site, I was intrigued by the description of this one, as a learning tool. Maybe he'll enjoy the story and get more out of it in a year or two but right now the book loses my son's interest. Didn't meet my expectations at this time.

This is my son's favorite Mickey Mouse Clubhouse book! I have read it to him so many times, I've practically memorized it. It's also educational by teaching shapes and colors, too. This is a great book for any Mickey fan.

My daughters enjoy this book. They are big fans of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, so I knew this would be a hit with them.

My 2-1/2 year old loves Mickey and friends so I purchased this book. I was not impressed with this book, nor was my toddler. It is basically the script from an episode of Mickey's Clubhouse. Maybe it would suit an older child better but my typically very patient child is not interested when I actually read all the words on the page. For a toddler, I find this book is better suited when pointing out shapes and pictures and making up my own story. It didn't meet my expectations.
