I bought this set for my 5 year old daughter and she enjoys them everyday we go riding. Already there are scratches on her knee pads from her falls and my main concern was it was either the pads or her knees. They've done the job well.

Got this helmet and knee/elbow pads for my granddaughter and she was thrilled. They match her Dora bike. The helmet fits well. The pads can be used for either knee or elbow pads. The color is gorgeous. I would recommend these for a little girl who loves Dora the Explorer.

I give it the full stars, because I do not have anything negative to say about the quality. It is cute for a little Dora lover. You can adjust it well to the child's head. My daughter is three. I really feel save enough to let her wear it outside with traffic around.
The only disappointing thing was that we did not get that color that was on the amazon picture. I figured out later that they get the picture provided from the manufacture, and that was just not the right one. So our helmet is purple with Dora on a bike, but it did not matter. Our daughter loves it.

For the child who loves dora, these are great. The fact that they have Dora on them makes your child want to wear them. Protective gear is only effective if the child will actually put it on. I got them for a very young niece and they are probably a bit large, but the helmet adjusts and stays on her head. The quality is not spectacular, but the set is not designed for hard core protection, just the normal dangers associated with learning to ride a bike or scooter. I wouldn't send a child out on their own with this equipment but its perfect for around the house / yard.

I ORDERED THIS ITEM & DID NOT RECEIVE WHAT THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION & PICTURE SAYS YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO GET. THE PICTURE SHOWS A HELMET, ELBOW PADS, KNEE PADS & HAND PADS. I RECEIVED A HELMET & ELBOW PADS. I RE-ORDERED & I RECEIVED THE SAME EXACT INCORRECT ITEM. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED WHEN I SPOKE TO SOMEONE & THEY TOLD ME THE MANUFACTURER DOESN'T EVEN MAKE THEM WITH THE FOUR PEICES. BE CAREFUL WITH THIS ITEM WHEN ORDERING FROM OTHER WEBSITES AS WELL. THE PRODUCT PHOTOS SHOW MORE ITEMS THAN WHAT YOU ARE ORDERING. IT'S VERY DECEIVING & DISHONEST. AFTER WRITING THIS REVIEW THE SAME INCORRECT PHOTO IS STILL BEING USED. OBVIOUSLY THEY AREN'T TRYING TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM.

I was disappointed since the picture show an elbow set and a knee set. The item came only with one set and the color is even different that the picture as well. The quality is OK and the price is ok as well.

The image of this product shows one helmet and four protective pads. But this is not true. This product includes one helmet and only two protective pads.

I thought they are going to ship helmet with knee and elbow pads as shown in product image, but it is not true. They ship only helmet and one pair pad which can be used as elbow or knee pad as description says. My 4 and half yrs old daughter has been using everyday for one month and felt that quality of knee pads is not good as helmet.

You will notice a lot of people saying they are missing the knee pads. This package only comes with one set of pads and you are to choose whether to use it on the knees or elbows. Yes, a little trickery, but what can you do.

Other than that, its a good product, well made, daughter loves it.

Great fit, good price. My only wish is that it came with knee pads and elbow pads like some of the other safety packages (this package has one set of pads that can be used as knee pads or elbow pads).
