A Kid's Review
= Durability:2.0 out of 5 stars = Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars = Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Micro Dancers: Jenny Queen Dancer (Toy)
This doll is totally cute, but it isn't very durable. It is mostly to admire rather than to play with. The batteries don't last very long, and it is hard to determine when the will dance. But they are fun to play with without a battery too!

This isn't a complaint against MicroDancers, but rather against Amazon/ToysRUS. Both dancers I ordered arrived with dead or nearly dead batteries. One did not work at all, one was just about dead. I pulled the batteries out of the dead dancer, they were corroded. No surprise--both dancers were packed in containers that were thick with dust! They were clearly old stock. What shoddy selling practice to keep in stock toys in which the batteries are dead! I've never been so unhappy with an Amazon purchase.
Follow-up: Amazon shipped me 2 replacement Micro Dancers by express delivery (before they had received my returned dancers), so they get high marks for that. New containers weren't dusty, hopefully these dancers are newer stock. However, although one dancer worked great out of the box, Jenny Queen dancer didn't work at all. When I removed her batteries--corrosion! I was able to remove most of the corrosion and position the batteries so that Jenny works, but I don't have high hopes for long battery life! I wouldn't suggest buying these dancers, at least from Amazon/ToysRUs
