Another great collectors set from Micro Machines Space, the Star Trek Limited Editions Collector's Set. This is box one, from 1993. I later years they produced a Set II and a set III before the Micro Machines company closed down for good in 1999. The sets have become hard to find still in the box, since they made only a small amount during the year they released them. They are tiny scale models of the ships, 3 inches long in the case of NCC 1701, from different incarnations of the Star Trek universe. The box is very informative on the back, telling you details about each ships name, class, speed, armaments, and crew size. In addition it states which episode, series or movie the vessel appeared in. Included in the box are clear plastic display stands for each vessel. Each box has the actual unique collectors number on the front. This makes it tough, because you lose some value if you open it. But who could look at this and not want to take them out? I guess you would have had to buy two when they first came pout, but good luck over a decade later when they have become rare.
