The length was good for my pc case, and it works great.

I would recommend this cable to anyone who needed to convert from a 15 Pin SATA female connection to a 4 Pin female power connection.

I say that because I have experienced small burnouts from similar but cheaper products from Ebay.

I bought this cable because I bought a new computer (Dell XPS 8300 in case you did too) and wanted to add USB3.0 pci-e card. The pci-e card required power and had the old LP4 Molex connection. but the new computer only had spare SATA connections from the power supply. This cable worked perfectly to make that connection and was just the right length. As previous reviewer stated, this is just what you need if you are looking to convert a SATA MALE CONNECTOR to LP4 MOLEX FEMALE CONNECTION. Price was very cheap and item delivered pretty quickly.

Although the label on the plastic bag is correct, the part inside was a SATA female to 4 pin Male power cable.

If anyone has the need to convert a SATA MALE CONNECTOR to LP4 MOLEX FEMALE CONNECTION, in an older model computer, then this item is an absolute 'Must Have' to get the job done without any rewiring hassel. I was hooking in the SATA supplied power cord to an older model MOLEX drive and, THANKS to this little adapter, it worked perfectly. It is so cost efficient that justification for manual rewiring was not even considered. Total user experience can be rated at 5 Stars. This product is highly recommended to GET THE JOB DONE!

This is one BOSS adapter, Jack. It shipped fast, it uses 18 gauge wires and the connectors work as expected. If you need it buy it, it'll give your power supply a Molex connection. I picked it up for Syba card reader with USB 3 ports.

Does the job of converting a Sata power connector to allow another molex connector to plug into a hard drive, disc drive or any other power need. Seems fairly sturdily made with no loose parts, or wires in the wrong location. I recommend checking to see that the wires are connected in the same order as your other molex connectors, as some have reported reversals in items received.

This little thing is awesome. I needed another SATA connection, but my computer only had a 4-pin connector. Using this tool permitted using my computer as I wanted without being subjected to hardware limitations. Very simple, but extremely effective. What would we do without Amazon?

These are "backwards" cables. That is they go on a NEW power supply to adapt it to OLD internal peripherals. For this they are perfect, and far prettier than something I could cobble up out of hack-sawed connectors stolen from dead disk drives, chopped up 4-pin Molex "Y" cables, and electrical tape.

I'm docking 1 star because the molding at the back of the SATA connector doesn't quite line up with the SATA connector. That is the connector was held in the mold at about a 5 to 10 degree angle when the molding compound was injected. I bought two of these and both are the same. Functionally this isn't a problem, but it isn't perfection either.

Sometimes there are just minimal power supply connectors in a computer. This gave me a way to get power to an additional hard drive.
