I managed to installed a new Zalman heatsink (Zalman USA CNPS7000B-AlCu CPU Fan) instead of the generic heatsink, that just brushes against my Power Supply Unit (but with different ATX cases you can move the PSU elsewhere). My mobo has survived an overheating problem that lasted for 6 months minimum, 2 explosions of different PSUs (one playing Call of Duty 2, the other playing Civlization IV) because they where bad quality. Literally there was smoking coming out the back on my computer on both occasions. The MSI mobo can sustain the weight of a 2 lb zalman heatsink hanging of it and was carried around town one day and didn't get damaged. When the PSUs blew the mobo survived and the hardware attached (gfx card, hdds, cpu and memory) also lived. I have seen many other brands of mobo out there but now that I have experience with the above I might not be inclined to get another brand because of what I have personally experienced whe the MSI mobo. I didn't expect this board to be so robust, but frankly was kindly amazed that it has lasted this long and is going. This MSI mobo is like IBM quality gear.

I bought this mobo after my DFI lanparty UT died in a matter of a week or so, because of chipset problems.. So i said screw DFI.

Installed this baby and everything was working from the first boot, i'd recommend this Mobo to anyone!
