Trance 101: First, you must listen to every single sound employed by the DJ because like a great composer every single tune is there for a purpose and that's what makes DJ Micro awesome, his creativity and ingenuity.Second, you have to immerse yourself in the transitions, build ups and last but not least the blow ups. This cd is the ultimate mood manipulator. It definitely takes my emotions, ties it up to the end of a string and just slings it everywhere. Chock this one up in your "gotta have" list.

Alright, in this CD Dj Micro starts his road into becoming the greatest Dj to walk the Earth. Come, listen to the sounds of the Tech-Trance!!! Techy, Hard, Fast, Uplifting, Beautiful!!! Micro will amaze you as he brings "Trance" a new face! You will fall in love with his style and his music as soon as you press play on the CD Player! This is the cd that started all the Tech Mix series,but this one is somewhat lacking.This is another cd I cant let play all the way thru because it's just so inconsistent and not near as good as the other tech mixes.Tech Mix 00'is the best,with 2.0 coming in 2nd place.I dont recommend this mix unless you like boredom in the middle of good music.

THis is the cd that opened the doorway to version 2.0....what a way to start it all(tech mix series)...this is one i can listen to over n over again without getting bored!get this one for sure

This mix is an absolute jewel. The first flawless aspect of this cd is the track selection. These tracks blend together to form one complete piece of art, a journey through time and space. Micro starts us off with 8 dark acid trance tracks that do not disappoint, and then he changes the pace a a bit. Tracks 9-12 are really funky, and almost resemble house, but with a trancey edge. He finishes us off with a hard acid breaks track that turns happy-go-lucky and leaves us drooling. The result...a beautifully varying mix that showcases all of Micro's outstanding skills. His mixing is amazing, he blends tracks with such skill and keeps the listener's ears glued to the speakers for the entire 73 minutes. I don't what else to say besides that I LOVE this album sooo much. Any listener, ESPECIALLY any true trancehead, will dig this album.

For anyone new to this music, this collection is a very rich, well-produced (i.e. professional) intro to fast-paced "caffeine" type edgy music. Definitely bouncy. Absolutely worth buying!
