These are for my daughter's room. I love the weight of them. Because they are velvet, they hang really well. It makes them look more expensive.

Does not block out light completely. It actually illuminates the room bright pink, which I love! I didn't buy them for blackout curtains, I bought these for my toddler girls' room to add a very rich color and luxiourious feel. They look way more expensive then they are. Great deal! The color is a NOT starburst pink, they are a bright pink, slightly lighter than the picture, not quite hot pink like I expected, but they are perfect nontheless. The slightly lighter color is more what I was looking for in the first place. Love these curtains!

These curtains look great in a child's room, and the color is definitely in the "sea" family. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

One caution: the curtains arrived looking and feeling more like velour than velvet- ultra, ultra soft. I stiched a white liner behind them, and now they look expensive and beautiful.

I bought four (two packages) of the black ones for hanging in my living room. They are a bit thin and don't block light very well, but are soft to the touch and I hung them up straight out of the package with no ironing/washing necessary, though I'm not too uptight about a few wrinkles here and there. I will say for $10 more you can get a significantly heavier curtain that's more effective at light blocking and a bit of insulation (IKEA, etc). But, these guys are doing the job for me. I think a 3 star review is decent - meaning I'm satisfied with the purchase, the items are "OK", but I wasn't 'wowed' or blown away.

Curtains are more of a minky fabric than velvet and the pink was a little lighter than I expected. I thought they were going to be a darker hot pink, but they have a nice weight and hang very well. I had read other reviews saying they were really thin, but I feel they are just the right thickness (and I have them hanging in a room that gets the afternoon, west sun). Overall I am pleased with the product.

Perfect! Block out most of the sun-light and look amazing in the room! I ordered the hot pink color (my daughter's room is green) and we love it!

I bought these for my daughter's room, they were very thin and let a lot of light through. They were so thin that they actually came with a run in them from the cardboard they were wrapped around in the package. I was just expecting something a little more solid, but i guess i should have guessed for the price. They were okay if you don't mind a light curtain though. I was just looking for something heavier and will be returning them.
