This is a great product at an exceptional value. This particular night light emits a signifigant amount of light and is perfect to place in any area.

2.0 out of 5 stars Light sensor doesn't work after many months.
The light sensor stopped working after a while. Essentially, sunlight must shine directly on the photosensor in order for the light to turn off now.

An excellent value, uses little power and gives a significant amount of light with no heat. Will last years with no bulb changes. Also available with manual on-off switch. Accurately described, adequately packaged and quickly shipped. I will buy from this vendor again and recommend them.

5.0 out of 5 stars the one to buy, April 21, 2005

I have looked at many night lights.
I believe that this produces the most light with the longest lasting bulb.

Pretty bright and uses less than 2 watts! What I especially like is that it doesn't emit heat like conventional night lights which can be so hot to the touch. Since its fluorescent you won't have to change the bulb for a very very long time. And at less than $4 a piece its still several dollars cheaper than my local Big-Box-Mart stores which sell for about $6.

I bought 6. I only wish I had more outlets around my apartment.

It's bright enough to light the hallway area at night, and it goes off during the day as designed. Seems to be a very nice product.

UPDATE: It worked well for 15 months, until the bulb faded then burned out in a two week interval. I'd expect a fluorescent bulb to last longer than 15 months. The bulb is not replaceable.

Convenient and practical. Turns on and off automatically. Gives off lots of light and does not consume much power. Bought three.
