Product Description

Converts your MicroSD or MicroSDHC Card into a MS Pro Duo Card for use with Pro Duo enabled devices, including PSP. Contains two MicroSDHC memory slots each with a capacity of up to 8GB for a total capacity of 16GB. *IMPORTANT* NOTE: 1. Please FORMAT MicroSD cards with CR-5400 adapter by SONY product or PSP before using the card.(DO NOT FORMAT by PC) 2. Keep Micro SD cards in CR-5400 adapter all time for data transfer. DO NOT transfer data from Micro SD cards without CR-5400 adapter to any other device(PC) . It will cause data corrupt. 3. Most of card readers DO NOT support high capacity Memory Stick (Duo) memory cards. Please use USB cable to transfer from PSP or SONY products to PC or other device. 4. For customers using PSP system software version 2.80 or earlier: PSP systems with system software version 2.80 or earlier do not correctly recognize high-capacity Memory Stick PRO DuoTM with more than 4 GB of free (recordable) memory space. Please update

Customer Reviews

No problems as of yet.

It is extremely flimsy too, slot 1 doesnt seem to take an SD card without flexing the adapter and it still takes alot of force to insert it.

I had two 32GB Class 4 cards which worked perfectly on the PSP so I couldn't be happier.

I used 2 SanDisk 16gb Class two MicroSDHC cards, and now have 32GB of space on my PSP.
Games run smooth off the stick.
I couldn't be happier.

I decided to go this route after getting burned on two different Memory Stick Pro Duo's on a popular auction site. I was skeptical, but based on what I read on the Sony forums, this should work fine with my PSP. They were correct!

I also bought 2 SanDisk 8GB microSDHC Card CLASS 2 (SDSDQ-8192, Bulk Package) which got me just over 14 GB of usable space for games, music and movies on my PSP. Plus, I should be able to upgrade to 32GB once the 16GB microSD's drop in price.

Overall, with memory prices as volatile as they are, you will have a hard time finding a more flexible and affordable Memory Stick Pro Duo option out there.

***Just remember to format the cards in your PSP and not your computer/laptop.***

This adapter only supports certain combos of memory sticks:
16+16=OK
4+8=0k
16+4=BAD
16+4=BAD
16+2=BAD

The above show the combos I have tried, and if they worked or not.
I think it hase something to do with the combined storage,

!!!!AND DON'T FORGET TO FORMAT IN YOUR DEVICE BEFORE USE!!!!
and your Device must support Hi-capacity Memory sticks:

PSP: supports!
Sony DSC camera: may not support (my sony dsc-h20 DOSE NOT SUPPORT THIS)

I bought one with two 8GB microSD cards. In my fat PSP it shows up as a single 16B stick. It's a little under 16GB but that is normal considering overhead. I fit over 40 games on a single stick! No more carrying around half a dozen sticks. Get one, they're great.

This is an amazingly simply product that does exactly what it's suposed to! I used this in my jailbroke PSP Slim with two SanDisk 32 GB microSDHC Flash Memory Card (card only) SDSDQM-032G it gave me around 58GB of usable space after formatting! This product is an awesome win!!

Pros:
-Came early via USPS shipping
-Didn't come defective as so many have complained before
-Works like a normal Duo Pro stick (maybe just a hair slower)

Cons:
-Flimsy (see comments below)

Comments:
This little gadget so far is awesome, and that fact that it came early makes me a very happy customer. Yes, it is flimsy but you need to understand what the product is. An offical Duo Pro itself can easily be flexed, and that is solid plastic with a silicon chip inside. This device is the SAME SIZE but its HOLLOW inside so that you can fit your micro sd sticks inside. Of course its going to be flimsy, ITS FREAKING HOLLOW. Once you get your sd sticks inside it feels pretty close to what you would expect from a normal Duo Pro. I haven't had any of the problems with my psp reading the stick as others have had, and as far as speed goes its just a tad slower that what you would expect from the real deal. I would buy this product and buy from this seller again.

I ordered two of these and both work perfect. I have not tried it with two 16GB microSD cards. Tried with two 8GB microSD cards and my files were transferred and read with no errors on my PSP. Thank you!
