Product Description

Amazon.com Product Description

SureThing CD Labeler Deluxe contains all you need to create and apply personalized, professional looking labels and jewel cases. Label everything from standard, mini, and full-faced CDs to CD hub caps. The Deluxe kit contains templates and labels, as well as three plastic label applicators compatible with all CD sizes and styles. Use any brand of label, from any manufacturer, including Avery, Memorex, CD Stomper, Neato, and Stick-It.

SureThing CD Labeler Deluxe conveniently lays out song titles for you, reading the tracks directly from your CD. If not available, the program gets title and track information off the Internet for you. Whenever playlist information is read, SureThing CD Labeler stores it in its built-in playlist manager, a handy database that's ready for use should the original CD not be available.

The SureThing CD Labeler Deluxe kit lets you print your label designs directly to your CD media. Included background images liven up labels. Choose from nature shots, people, animals, textures, places, and more. Create your own label types with new template wizards for mini-CDs; CD business cards; Sony MiniDiscs; DAT, Zip, and Jaz cartridges; audio and video cassettes; and more. A user's guide, starter pack of labels, and label applicators are included with the software.

5.0 out of 5 stars Incomparable!, September 29, 2001
By Danielle (Houston, Tx United States) - See all my reviews
The newest version of SureThing's CD Labeler (V 3.0) is by far the best labeling software to date. With such advanced features as a Playlist Manager to help you manage your music collection, SmartDesigns templates, and CD-Text reading, MicroVision has certainly outdone themselves. The CD text reading is my favorite feature because if your burner supports CD text writing the tracks can be recognized and inserted into the label. Also, the deluxe version comes with hundreds of fantastic backgrounds as well as the ability to easily use your own backgrounds. Almost everything about this application is customizable from the startup options, toolbars, to the visual style of the label design area. In addition to all of this, SureThing CD Labeler 3.0 is compatible with many of the most popular types of labels. The kit even comes with a sample of SureThing's glossy full-faced CD labels which allows more of your background to be seen. If you want to create professional looking labels this program is a necessity.

2.0 out of 5 stars beware-the installer overwrites your font files, April 8, 2002
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I don't think the user interface is very good on this product, but one thing really irked me. When you install the product it overwrites your Windows system font files without asking you. And this is verison 3 of the product! We use Garamond in our label and the True Type Font it overwrote was much better. We had to recover the original font from another system. This happened on both Windows98 and Windows XP Professional. Unfortunately, I verified this was the culprit for sure the second time around. Hopefully, this will save you some grief.

5.0 out of 5 stars This program rocks!, December 27, 2001
By A Customer
I bought another program (Neato) and spent a frustrating 2 hours trying to create one label. Found Surething on the net and used the free trial version. It's intuitive, comes with great templates, and makes it incredibly easy to design your own labels. I wanted my burned cd's to list the tracks on the label and finally have a means to do so. No more majic marker for my labels! Wish this program cost less, but sometimes, you get what you pay for, and this is worth it.
