I got this book for my microbiology class. As a first time microbiology taker, but is well versed within the sciences, this book can be better laid out. I got it because I had to, and although it is very introductory the the chapters and ideas can be better organized and elaborated on.

There is a more recent edition of this book so maybe it will be radically different, but this book is okay. I am a very organized person and so I would like to see that within the materials I read as well. With that said, this book can be better organized, but it gets the job done.
