Best book I ever bought in med school,
By Carlos Moreyra (FPO, AE USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Microbiology Companion (Spiral-bound)
This book was the best purchase I made as a medical student. So much energy during a microbiology class goes into segregating the information and placing it into categories. Topf and Faubel take care of that in an easy-to-read format so that the reader could focus on learning it. The book is essentially written in a chart format. There is also plenty of space to write down your own notes on the different pathogens. Important key words and distinctive features are in bold face for easy reading. Even though they may not tell you med school that this book is "required," from a student's perspective it is a "must."
