I bought this book for a introductory college course that required the next version of the book and this has worked perfectly. The difference between the two books is only in how they are organized; I, and my professor, believe that there is only another version of the book because the author wanted more money, shocker... The CD that comes with this book is a really nice change from just reading chapter after chapter with no breaks. In this generation I really appreciate being able to put the text book down and doing so practice questions on my computer. I was reluctant to buy a book for this course, but I am glad I have this one.
