really detailed book,

I was assigned this book in college. It is definitely intense. However, it's intense in a positive way. I have always found microbiology to be one of the most interesting subjects of science. I have always been fascinated by parasites and bacteria. If you're assigned this book in micro class in college--definitely read this book. I also found Microbiology Study Guide: Key Review Questions and Answers by Patrick Leonardi to be an excellent study guide for test prep.

I bought this for a micro class, and it was helpful. Easy to use with lots of pictures. I'm surely not a great judge of micro books, but this one was helpful for me.

Good book. Information was easy to follow. But the condition I received it in was terrible. It was advertised as "good" but had writing and marks all over it from head to toe.
