really detailed book
I was assigned this book in college. It is definitely intense. However, it's intense in a positive way. I have always found microbiology to be one of the most interesting subjects of science. I have always been fascinated by parasites and bacteria. If you're assigned this book in micro class in college--definitely read this book. I also found Microbiology Study...

Microbiology
Good book. Information was easy to follow. But the condition I received it in was terrible. It was advertised as "good" but had writing and marks all over it from head to toe.

I was assigned this book in college. It is definitely intense. However, it's intense in a positive way. I have always found microbiology to be one of the most interesting subjects of science. I have always been fascinated by parasites and bacteria. If you're assigned this book in micro class in college--definitely read this book. I also found Microbiology Study Guide: Key Review Questions and Answers by Patrick Leonardi to be an excellent study guide for test prep.

I bought this for a micro class, and it was helpful. Easy to use with lots of pictures. I'm surely not a great judge of micro books, but this one was helpful for me.

This book is very poorly written. This book doesn't define terms, doesn't bother to explain things, and just goes into incredible detail on things that leave the reader lost. I've heard it said that it's for a graduate audience. That's no excuse.
