Microboards QD-DVD One-to-One DVDR/CDR Duplicator

We have bought two DVD duplicators from Microboards. Never again! Oh, they work great for a few months and then slowly, one by one, the drives start failing, then the controller starts failing, then the firmware needs updating, and so Microboards sends out a firmware update, then a replacement drive, but then when the problems persist they want you to send the whole thing back. And then they fix it up and replace drives and send it back to you two weeks later and it works great for a few weeks and then one by one the drives start failing again...and the cycle goes on and on. So we decided to buy another duplicator from them so we would not be without a machine while the other one (which we thought was a lemon) was being serviced. Well, much to our frustration, the second duplicator started doing the same thing as the first (working great...then drives start failing...mail it in). We have sent our duplicators in four times in two years!

So frustrating. Never again. We will never by another Microboards product ever.

So I started talking to people this week, trying to figure out what other brand to go with, and everybody I talk to who uses other brands says, "Oh we never have any problem with ours." Now, I'm not going to tell you what brands they are using. I do not want you to think I'm a salesman for another company. But I will give you this advice: Save yourself a major headache: avoid Microboards and go with another brand duplicator!
