Studied with this for the AP exams in both Macro and Micro this year and got 5's in both, definitely recommend it.

My daughter's AP Macro and Micro teacher told my daughter this was a great book, so I bought this book for her.

I teach AP Economics and use this book regularly. It's organization of topics is great. It seems every Economics textbook differs on order, but I like the order of presentation here.

I find the "2012-2013" part to be somewhat misleading, since it is 99% identical to the 2008-2009 version that I have. There are maybe 2 pages added, but all graphs and practice exams are identical. A used 2008 version is just as good.

Definitely better than Princeton or Kaplan.

My daughter's AP Macro and Micro teacher told my daughter this was a great book, so I bought this book for her. My daughter reviewed every single page of this book and did all the sample tests. She ended up getting both perfect 5 scores on AP Macro and AP Micro!

Bought this book to use along with my AP Macro class. I did both of the practice exams in the back of the book and scored a 5 on the in class final. I highly recommend this book.

I was never in any business classes, and had a first time teacher who knew less about the subject than the students did. I got a 5 on both of my exams, and I attribute a large part of that to this book. It's just amazing, and one of the best 5 to 5's in the series. Great tips, helpful examples, and lots of practice are the book's assets, and for anyone taking on the course, this is an indispensable study guide.

I ordered this book recently so I could review for the AP exam. This is a must buy for anyone interested in studying for the test and trying to get a 5. I thought the Micro section was amazing, everything was very detailed and put into terms anyone could understand. I especially liked how they went into so much detail on perfect competition and monopolistic competition. The Macro section was also very good in covering contractionary/expansionary fiscal and monetary policies but I felt they didn't go into that much detail on the current/capital accounts (we covered this in my AP Economics class and when I read what was in the book I felt some details about what specifically goes into each account were missing) along with quotas and externalities. Overall this book is great, the complaints I had were minuscule and the book was definitely a great buy. I feel prepared for the test and will update with my results.

Update: I just got my scores back and I got a 5 on the Micro and a 4 on the Macro.

I liked this book because it gave detailed reviews of the year's topics. What I didn't like was that it wasn't as detailed, and didn't really have practice problems like the Princeton Review book. If you struggle with economics and you want a great review book, I would use the Princeton. Otherwise, this one suffices. I've just been spoiled by Princeton Review, so I used that one instead for review.
