5.0 out of 5 stars Good Econ book, December 27, 2010
This review is from: Microeconomics (Paperback)
Rated 5/5 stars - good textbook

I used this textbook for a economics class. I purchased it on Amazon because it was much cheaper than purchasing it at school. If you have at least a week before your class starts I recommend purchasing your textbook on Amazon to save money but sometimes shipping time may be an issue. If it is only a day or two before class or your class has already started you may just want to buy from your school or pay extra for next day shipping. This book was well put together and an overall easy read.

This Microeconomics book was well put together and was easy to read. It had great chapter quizzes that really help you learn the material. I feel it could have used more visual items like graphs to better represent the information. Another great feature is it comes with a workbook and study guide. It is almost like a cliffnotes for the book.

Pros: Good book, good price

Cons: could use more graphs

5.0 out of 5 stars Micro and Macroeconomics made easy, October 4, 2003

Tracy Lambert (Lauderhill, FL United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Microeconomics (Paperback)
Any student not mathematically inclined will be able to understand economics and obtain a better than passing grade by using this book. Like Denzel Washington's character in the movie "Ricochet" said, "Explain it to me like I'm a three year-old". That is what Slavin's book does. I gave this book to a classmate that was taking the class after me because she could not afford her own. Unfortunately, I could not locate her or the book again. Although I graduated this year, I am going to buy it as a used book to add to my present textbook collection.
