I am a diesel/generator/power equipment tech. I deal with everything from dirt to battery acid and chemicals. These gloves have held up to every thing I have throw at them thus far. Exposure to break clean and still be able to take them off and reuse them. With the fingers at 7.1 mil and the palms are 4.7 mil they have lasted me quite a few times of taking them off and putting them back on under heavy use, with use with heavy parts. Even with the fingers being 7.1 mil they are still pretty good for small parts, even needle bearings in u-joint caps. I find that my hands sweat less in these than in competitive thickness gloves. They do run true to their size. I have small hands and usually wear a medium, a tech working with me usually wears a large and as expected they fit me perfectly and are a little small on him. If you are looking for a thicker glove check out the Microflex® DFK-608-M, DuraFlock, Flocked Line Nitrile, Extended Cuff, Medium, Case, 50/box is $19.77; 10 boxes/case for $152.07 they pick up where these leave off. Put a box of each in your tool box and your hands will thank you.

I purchased these to replace another more pricey brand of nitrile gloves, though I was skeptical that these could compare at the far better price. I have been pleasantly surprised.

I am sensitive to chemicals and use nitrile gloves for general household cleaning, including cleaning up after sick kids and pets. We recently purchased property and the previous owners left it littered with various farming and machinery chemicals and a seemingly endless number of old car batteries. These gloves have been very durable, feel comfy on, and I haven't had any reactions to the chemicals I'm handling since using these.

I also use these when my hands get dry. Just rub some lotion on, put the gloves on, and head off to bed. They really keep that moisture in overnight and if you have to get up and use the toilet you don't have to remove them. Just go and wash up as usual. You can't do that with those fabric gloves sold for this purpose.

I'm purchasing the small size for my children's contribution to cleaning up and I do recommend these to anybody interested in protecting their hands from the tortures of cleaning and general household chemical use. Make sure to keep a couple pairs stored in Ziplock baggies in your first aid kit, too.

The Microflex Powder Free Nitrile gloves seem to be slightly thicker than other gloves, they are longer up the wrist so that water etc does not get in the glove. I am happy with this purchase, I will buy them again.

While these cost almost twice as much as the ones from Costco but will most likely last you five times longer.

These are made with thicker and tougher grade of nitrile yet maintains the dexterity of a thinner glove.

I had the honor of disassembling my 10 yrs old BBQ grill before I could dispose it and there are plenty of sharp edges, I did not expect these gloves to last thru the entire process which took over an hour but it did.

Very pleasantly surprised.

Update: As of 5/17/2014, I only managed to go thru 5 pairs. I wear them every weekend while working on cars, lawn & gardening equipment. Much tougher than I expected.

These are exactly what I used to get in the chemistry lab, but I'll bet they cost less on Amazon than what we paid at the lab. They are high quality gloves. I use them when dealing with toxic substances at home (solvents, et.) as well as in my reef tank (I put a little rubber band around my wrist when I'm using them underwater.)

I use this for working around the house, car, waxing skis, etc. Much better than latex.

These gloves are true to size and more durable than most other nitrile gloves. I bought them for a personal ems trauma bag, and I wanted something that would not rip on me if I really need it (which I hopefully won't). I was considering these gloves and the Digitcare Defender gloves, but those gloves were not available from Amazon. I will probably be using these gloves for household cleaning, mechanical work on cars or yard equipment (oil changes especially), etc. as well. Overall great gloves and I will certainly buy again.
