A delightful introduction to computers,
By
This review is from: Micromania: Whole Truth About Home Computers (Paperback)
I picked up this book from a roadside stall in 1988 even though I knew about computers. I browsed through the first few pages and I was hooked. I think this was the British edition written with David Langford. Very witty, it gives a complete moron great insights into computers. And then there is a chapter that describes the more popular models (prevalent in 1984) which still gives me that nostalgic feeling. I still have that copy (yellowed as its been printed on cheap paper), and I refuse to throw it away!
