Easy to control and use,

I find myself using the microplane to shape wood and get the piece down to a pattern size easier than a file at times. It's much easier to control in some situations and it seems to be a lot less work having all those sharp blades on a nicely handled tool. For the money I could recommend these to anyone in need.
