Microsoft Mobility Pack

VX-6000 ---- 5 stars...
Mouse Notebook Wireless 6000 ---- 3 stars (i've used the logitec v450 for a while, and besides its bigger size, its much more confortable for a man's hand, than the tiny microsoft mouse.)

Not bad deal for $22, anyway.

I brought this pack for live chat with my friends, and it came in perfect shape. Over all, it's worth for the price.

LifeCam: It's cool and portable, the picture and video quality is good as expected. However, I found some lag when I use the highest video quality. Usually, I would use 1.3M pixel for video chat. Embeded microphone is good too, especially useful for desktops.

Mouse: It's a small mouse. Although the mouse works perfect, I have to say, a bigger mouse would fit me better. I kind of like a little more damp on the wheel, but it seems microsoft is reducing the damp on wheel for recent products. You can use the mouse at a little distance, but don't expect it would work the same 10 meters away. The receiver is not a small one, however, I don't see any problem with it. A smaller receiver would be cool, but no more value for me.

After all, this pack comes as what I have been expected, at a very good price. So, I'm quite satisfied with it.

The webcam quality is good and also the mouse usage is also good. It is worth buying. I had a reception problem with mouse because of my laptop. My laptop has the usb port at the backside and so the mouse has to be in the close proxmity but if you have the usb port in the side of the laptop then it is working fine in long distance also.

I'm not impressed with this and think there are better packages out there. First off, the package I received was in a plastic bag. I've seen much better packaging. It was particularly poor as a gift item because of the packaging.

Camera functions OK but mounting mechanism is horrible. It is a very narrow clip and unusable on almost anything. It won't even clip onto my laptop let alone a regular LCD display on a computer.

Mouse functions fine. As a laser mouse it does its job but it wasn't purchased for the mouse.

Biggest let downs on the camera are the mounting and the button. If you hit the button it seems to insist on launching a MS webcam app. It is used with Skype mostly so this is very annoying.

Really wish I'd spent the few extra dollars on a better camera.

Bought package camera+mouse. Camera is really good, but mouse was not working. I don't really care about mouse, just need a camera, no point to do refund for 2 buks mouse.

Overalls this is a very good package coming from well reputed brand.

Camera:
Good high resolution camera which is more than sufficient for video chatting. Good accompanying software, but could be annoying for some. Good for laptops thanks to the adjustable head. Haven't found any faults with this.

Mouse:
Looks solid and well built unlike some other small mice. Very portable(the dongle nicely snaps into the mouse). Best part is no bright red light below the mouse. Mouse is fairly comfortable for its size. But dont expect it to be as good as a full sized mice.

I was not sure this set of Web camera and wireless mouse is good or bad until I started to use, but they are excellent. My current system is old windows XP with 1.3 GHz CPU and 1GB memory. The camera still work very well regardless of low spec. I did not expect anything about wireless mouse, but it is mobilizable and have a long battery (it can be used even in Mac OS X except for expansion button). So far, I am very satisfied with these equipments.

The webcam has great video quality and the wireless mouse works well. The small size is especially nice for traveling with a laptop.

Mouse- perfect

Camera- needs a bit of refining. I previously purchased a Logitech camera from an independent buyer via Craigslist and am more satisfied with that camera then the Microsoft NX 6000.

I bought this pack couple weeks ago and it's worth with the price.
I had been using exactly the same mouse since Nov. last year but somehow it just worked for almost 1 year. I'm looking for a new mouse and this time I also need a webcam and this pack is good for me; though still hoping this new mouse works longer. I really really like the quality of the webcam & also the software along, they're great! I also like the carrying case, good for protection.

Already bought 2 more for my family :)
