While that book was designed as a low-level tutorial, this new edition should serve as a reference for beginning, as well as experienced, users. It includes menu maps, icon lists and more summary tables. The first part of the book introduces readers to Access and covers designing a database, entering and editing data, plus importing and exporting data. The following parts explain queries, as well as creating and customizing forms and reports. The last parts detail macros, network and administrative topics, plus programming. The text features examples based on a fictional roller-coaster company called Coaster Mania, Inc. This application was also used in the "Inside and Out" book.
