When traveling, I'd like to things to be compact, yet useful and durable. This mouse was great since it folds to a smaller size and when unfolded to use, It's a full size mouse. The optical tracking was quick and smooth. Installation was instant on Windows Vista and 7. Been using for about 2 months and no problems!

*I do wish it was bluetooth as my new laptop has built-in bluetooth.

It's a sexy little thing. Comes with a nice faux suede carrying case. The usb magnetically stores itself on the underside for carrying around, and you simply turn it off by closing it, making it compact and ideal for carrying. Go Microsoft.

I love this mouse... I have the white and washed it the washing machine and dried it in the dryer, believe it or not, it still works, but the battery dies quickly,now. So I'm buying the red... It will be a fun color to have. LOVE this product...

Bought this to use with my laptop on-the-go. It's very light, so something to get used to. It's a lot more curved than a typical mouse, but clicking is still easy to do. Easy to pack up and take with you in the carrying pouch provided. Looks sleek. Plug and play. Not sure what the "Dent Packaging" stands for. Came in a retail box with no "dents." Just in case anyone was wondering.

So far so good! The power can be switched off when not in use, which is great. It's light and sensitivity is just right, and I can use it on my glass table. Almost plug-n-play except that the installation gives you more control over the mouse... Happy with the purchase.

This unit was received quick and intact. The MS "ARC" mouse works on any and all surfaces and never "stutters". This is a great buy if you plan to make only one purchase for a mouse.

I love the portability of this mouse, after seeing the pictures, i was afraid of crushing it in my laptop bag, but the mouse definitely feels durable. The scroll wheel is inconsistent and it seems that it either scrolls too much or not enough depending on what you're scrolling through. Also, the left side button is a little too far forward and forces you to adjust your natural grip to reach. On the flip side, everyone shows interest in it, definitely makes you look like you know your gadgets.

The Microsoft Arc Mouse raises the bar for wireless mice. It opens up and and you see the small USB connector that stores in the closed unit, held in by a magnet. Once opened and connected, it has a great feel, filling up your hand like a full size mouse. It is very responsive. When using it with a notebook, it folds up compactly, and is stored in the provided cloth sack. I love it.

I LOVE this mouse. I love the way it looks, the portability, the feel, etc. There are, however two flaws that you should know about.

1. The mouse has a piano finish on it. Unfortunately, it shows dirt very badly. If you have oily or slightly dirty fingers, it collects on the buttons. It requires a quick wipe to get it away, so its not a big deal, but if they had just given it a matte finish, this wouldn't have been an issue.

2. If you put your computer to sleep with the USB connector in the machine, and then wake it back up, the settings change. Maybe this is just me, but if I set my wheel and sensitivity and then let the machine go to sleep, my settings are totally changed when it wakes up. All I have to do to fix the issue is unplug the USB and replug it in, but its still a nuisance.

Otherwise, get this mouse! I got it scratch and dent for <$10, and it was worth every penny. The packaging didn't even look scratched!!

I made the purchase when this one was on sale for four bucks due to some defective packaging. This mouse itself is in perfect mint condition. I love the shape and the foldable design so it is easier to carry around while traveling. I can't think of anything as its weakness.
