I tried to cut corners to get my Xbox to streamline Netflix movies by using my Samsung tongle but it did not work. I tried using my Oppo wireless bridge or the D-link wireless range booster. Neither worked.I found the price for a new Xbox 360 wireless adapter a bit prohibitive. So I reluctantly went ahead and ordered a fairly used one.I ordered it "like new" through one of Amazon's subsidiaries. It was $20.00 cheaper than the price of a new one.It arrived today and sure looks new. I initially had difficulty connecting it to my home network as I tried to do the configuration manually. A friend helped me with the setup and changed all my settings to automatic. At the snap of my finger, the adapter found my network and connected to it effortlessly and bingo, I am watching 187 via Netflix as I type.

The picture quality is HD and great. I am not sure if it is because of the Xbox 360 Elite or the Netgear N wireless router or my Samsung 52" B750 LCD TV that I have such crystal clear and crisp picture quality.The audio too is equally impressive. I have not noticed the freezes others have experienced. I was concerned that the adapter will not be compatible with my router as other reviewers had noted in other websites. Man, am I glad it works with my router.My connection speed is 54Mbps and can max up to 130Mbps. I do recommend this wireless adapter for Xbox live functions.It is a cheaper way to watch tons of DVDs if you do have the Xbox 360 console. Any other Netflix ready device will surfice. Saying that it is a cheaper means of watching tons of DVDs is an understatement. I have downgraded my Netflix plan from 3 DVDS to 1 DVD with unlimited streaming. Bye- Bye to on demand and soon, my Blockbuster plan will be downgraded as I will review its relevance within the next 30 days.

I made the mistake of trying a non-Microsoft brand first, and I regretted it almost as soon as I read the instructions to it. I spent a massive amount of time trying to get it to work to no avail, and I'm definitely above average when it comes to tech, so it was really annoying.
However, with this adapter you literally just plug it in, it pulls a list of wireless networks nearby (after you go to network settings on your 360), then you put in your password -if you have one-, and there it goes! What took me hours of trying to do with another adapter worked in a few minutes with this one. I highly recommend it!

The wireless adapter works perfectly for xbox live. I have used it for about 2 weeks now and have had no problems. The connection has been fast and very reliable. I reccomend this to anybody who needs a wireless adapter for xbox.

Does what it says on the tin! Connection is steady for gaming and streaming, obviously cheaper then the more expensive newer model that supports more types of connection but from current experience not having any problems so far (perhaps HD streaming would be a noticeable diffence?) - worth purchasing.

This product is great! Before we got it, we would have to run a cord from the xbox in our living room to the motem in the kitchen. It sucked! Now, my boyfriend can play all day and there is no tripping over cords. It holds the wireless signal very well and we haven't had any problems with losing connection.

I definitly recommend this product!

Plugged it in and within a few mins was up and running. Can connect to my wifi network and stream movies from netflix. Great product

This adapter works perfectly. I am able to connect to XBox Live with no problems whatsoever. For the price, it can't be beat.

Wanted to order a new "xbox 360" original item, that's what I thought I was ordering not so sure since it didn't come in the original Xbox packaging. Vendor claims it's because they package using "frustration free packaging" which means they remove the original packaging materials so it's easy for you to open. Hmmmm...That aside the product does work and arrived on time. Full disclosure on the frustration free packaging would have been nice.
