5.0 out of 5 stars 6000 on the road
I travel a lot and pack my laptop case with as many conveniences as I can, since it's always a carry-on bag. I have big hands, so I used to carry a desktop size USB mouse. On a whim, I bought the Microsoft Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 6000. One of the best purchases I've ever made for laptop accessories. 3.0 out of 5 stars OK at best
This mouse is not very comfortable to use. It was designed to be ambidextrous, and there lies its fault. It is not very comfortable to use for long stretches of time. Microsoft will do better if they would create a left handed mouse, to complement the right handed ones, instead of these ambidextrous ones.

5.0 out of 5 stars 6000 on the road, June 5, 2010
This review is from: Microsoft B5W-00001 Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 6000 with Tilt-Wheel and Magnifier (Electronics)
The 6000 series offers a smooth scroll wheel, as opposed to the ratchet feel in some mouses. This results in smooth scrolling pages on the screen, which is very useful when reading large PDF files. Lightweight with great battery life. These are desired features for someone that travels a lot. If you're a road warrior, like I am, the Microsoft Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 6000 is a great investment.

4.0 out of 5 stars Laser mouse, February 18, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Microsoft B5W-00001 Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 6000 with Tilt-Wheel and Magnifier (Electronics)
Purchased mouse without first handling it. It work very good, but is much smaller than average mouse so am having a bit of difficulty getting used to it. Other than its' size I am very satisfied with it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Poorly designed product, November 28, 2009
This review is from: Microsoft B5W-00001 Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 6000 with Tilt-Wheel and Magnifier (Electronics)
There are two problems with this mouse, which are enough to throw it to garbage:

1) the buttons are not easy to press, it takes more effort than most other devices

2) the shape is not ergonomic. I have a large palm, and it gets tired very quickly with this mouse

Logitech is the way to go, confirmed...
