The Microsoft Business Hardware Pack is an excellent value for a keyboard and mouse set. A month ago I ordered 4 units for my small business. They've worked without any problems on our Macs. The software seems to function well and allows for all the additional keys and mouse buttons to be properly configured. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a keyboard and mouse set, including home users.

Keyboard Highlights:
- Ample multifunction keys
- Shock absorbing keys that are comfortable to use for extended periods of time
- Log Off, Sleep, and sound control keys
- "F Lock" key keeps it's state after rebooting

Mouse Highlights:
- Four buttons, five including wheel click
- Improved optics over older models (it doesn't dim when not in use, reducing lag)
- Comfortable size for any user and any hand

Pros:
- Inexpensive
- Good quality, software (Mac) and hardware
- Simple and functional design
- No batteries to replace or fail

Cons:
- None

I decided to buy this keyboard/mouse combo because it was wired. Yes Wired... I was sick of dealing with the wireless "pain" (batteries, frequent disconnection, etc). For my surprise, this combo was much better than what I was expecting. It's keys are pretty "soft" and quiet. And it includes some handy keys to access basic windows functionality (web, email, messenger, volume, etc). If you are looking for a cheap NON "painful" way of using your PC, this is IT.

Better than the last microsoft mouse I bought. The third and fourth button take some getting used to. Clicked a couple times accidently when grabbing mouse to move it. Improved glides, very smooth.

I seldom take the time to post reviews such as this; but this is an opportunity to do someone who is looking for a keyboard a favor. This is one great keyboard and, when you consider its cost, offers genuine value. Mine has great tactile feel, no dead keys and a useful array of special keys. Not too many - just enough. I really like this keyboard.

I always cringe when I'm faced with buying a Microsoft product; however, this keyboard and mouse are excellent and priced right.

I loved the keyboard but the mouse is terrible. Feels cheap and the scroll wheel is not up to par. The DPI of this mouse is terrible and even with sensitivity all the way up I still can't move all the way across the screen. The keyboard is probably the best feature, the keys are very easy to type with and feel like you are typing on air, the downside is that sometimes it feels like the keys hit the bottom of the base. Hard to explain but Keyboard is pretty good all around. For the price you can't beat it but be prepared to buy another mouse if you want to feel comfortable.

The Microsoft keyboard proved to be an excellent buy as it looks sharp, is ergonomically designed and offers a wide array of features not found on standard keyboards. For the price it is an excellent product.

A great keyboard and mouse. If you tap the mouse on your desk then it splits the windows in a vista-esque manner. If I read the manual then it probably would have told me but we all know what really happens with manuals! I'm using this to replicate the setup that I have in the office at home. Works perfectly at a pretty reasonable price.

This is a great, low cost keyboard. The volume controls and several hotkeys are a great added bonus. The mouse has five buttons and is perfectly suited for web browsing.

Although a bit big for my desk, this keyboard is comfortable and easy to use. My only beef is that the space bar doesn't always make a space, which is a royal pain for a speed typist. Also, I wish it came with instructions: I'm used to a Mac keyboard and this one has things on it that I haven't a clue how to use. The wrist rest is really nice to have, especially since I have carpal tunnel problems and my fingers fall asleep. With the wrist rest, this doesn't happen. Merchant delivered on time as promised. Box was slightly crushed on one side but keyboard and mouse were well packaged and were not damaged. Overall, it's an outstanding deal, especially considering the price.
