My old mouse (same product) gave up the ghost after 2 years so I purchased a reasonably priced mouse from Logitech. I soon found out that I couldnt turn the mouse off after use so I was constantly buying new batteries. What I love about this mouse is when you're done you simply pop the usb connector in the space provided on the bottom of the mouse and voila! your mouse is turned off. Love it, it's easy to use, no software to install, uses 1 battery and the price for this one is the cheapest I've ever seen.[Edit-when I purchased this mouse it was $7.99] I'll probably purchase another at this price for a backup.

A very nice mouse for the money. It even works on my semi-glossy dining table which causes a lot of my other mice to skip and jump. It's a little too sensitive (even at the lowest sensitivity level) for my tastes but nothing I won't get used to after a bit.

I think this mouse is super functional. It's a nice color and it is more sensitive than my older optical mouse. I wish it were a little bigger (but, the smaller size is to be expected with a notebook mouse). It seems to only turn off when you snap the USB into the base of the mouse. When you do this, it isn't flush with the mouse surface- but this doesn't bother me. Overall a very functional product and I would buy it again. The wireless mouse is a nice feature for de-cluttering desks.
