If you are looking for a study guide, this book clearly addresses the exact topics you should expect to be tested on. This book covers every objective for the MOUS Word exams. It is very evident that the author is actually a certified office user specialist. I especially liked the "Student Preparation Guide" section in the Appendix. This is where the author gives a student some wonderful helpful hints and motivation to help them confront the exams. You definately know what to expect when you arrive on test day.

Also, this well-written book is for people who are currently using Word but want to brush up on their skills and fill in the gaps. It covers all the main features of Word, and serves as a great desk reference that you can use to quickly look up how to complete tasks. I use it often and it has increased my productivity tremendously.

If you're taking the MOUS exam and relying on this book to teach you about Word 2000... go look for another book. However, if all you need is practice and guidelines as what to expect... then this book will work for you. As with all QUE MOUS books, this one is a paperback. I would have paid an extra buck or two to have it lay flat. It is a real pain trying to follow along on the practice tests with both hands on the keyboard and an elbow (in the book) to keep the pages open!

This book is great for studying for and passing the Word 2000 MOUS exams.The books's unique organization makes finding & reviewing information easy. Topics thoughout the book are organized by the exams' objectives, so you know you're reviewing exactly what you need to know, to get certified. I used this book and passed both Word 2000 MOUS exams with flying colors.

I found the book to be very helpful. But don't just rely on it to pass the test. You need to study very hard and read the questions on the test completely prior to answering them.

This book does not explain clearly on the topic and there is no example to follow on the topic. The worst is the practice session, there should be a step-by-step solution for the practice Qs.
