5.0 out of 5 stars Additing !! as in Betty Ford !!
You will never get tired of this collection. It is definitely for puzzle/logic lovers. Chance does affect the outcome, but if you're good, you'll find yourself battling to increasing your score. It may not take forever to learn all the rules, strategy or any names ( which I appreciate ), but you could spend forever perfecting your skills - and every once in a while going...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not bad, but not great
When I first purchased this CD I was disappointed with the choice of puzzles. Although they are fun, only two of them are actually challenging (Line up & Finty Flush). After a while I got very bored with "Jewel Thief" and "Rat Porker". However, after a hard day at work the games are good stress relievers because of their simplicity. Because of...

Because of this factor I give the package 3 stars.

3.0 out of 5 stars A nice time killer, but lacking in real depth, December 1, 1999

After having this game for several months, I regularly play only one of the games. Several of them are quite confusing, even with the pop-up hints. Some are just too cute for their own good.

If you're looking for simple, short games, this software will do fine. If you're a serious puzzle person, get Pandora's box instead.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Stroll Down Memory Lane, June 30, 2011
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Microsoft Entertainment Pack Puzzle Collection (CD-ROM)
Wow I just remembered after how many years after visiting my grandma's house. I was able to find this in here copy of Windows HOme Essential 98 and was ecstatic. My cousins and I used to play this all the time at grandma's house when we had family get together's. We would all take turns playing the different levels in Flinty Flush, Jewel Chase, Rat Poker, Spring Weekend and more. Our favorites were Jewel Chase and Rat Poker. It was so much fun. We would literally spend hours on this. The games as a child were challenging to us but now playing it as an adult on my older computer still running Windows 98 it was somewhat easy but still fun and addicting. It's a great time killer. Maybe even for one of those long road trips. It could be something you could play on your laptop and it would probably keep your children occupied for awhile.

So-o-o fun! A brain teaser. Great for any age. Girls/women might prefer it more since this is a puzzle, and no, nobody dies.

5.0 out of 5 stars Many years of fun, February 9, 2002

I have enjoyed Rat Poker for years since it appeared in a test download from the NY Times(I think). It has many twists and turns and many ways to philosphize about winning. Several others are ok but it by far the most fun for whiling away the hours and testing your brain.
