I'm big into online gaming and always play in a dark room with all the lights out, first i thought it's not gonna be good cause all my previous keyboards had blue light but the orange is very nice and bright, no problems seeing in the dark and the biggest and best thing about it IT'S WATERPROOF, all the keyboards i've had broke cause of water or drinks spilling on it, not even much just a few drops were enough to brake it, this one still working after so many spills, no flicker, no going out, no nothing, just wipe it off and that's it, had this keyboard for over 2 years now and still love it, if it ever breaks gonna buy the same one

PROS:
Gaming keyboard can press up to 26 buttons at the same time
Red backlit lights (looks nice)
Media player buttons on top (I use it for windows media player)
Macro buttons on the left side
Good quality buttons
Plug and go (you can install the gaming features with the CD)

CONS:
Fingerprint and oil marks (due to glossy plastic)
Small buttons (I wish they were a bit larger so I don't feel cramped)
The bottom part of the keyboard (I don't know what its called) is a plastic grip, does not have cushioning
Function keys are small

Great keyboard for less than $50

I recently built a PC and the keyboard I wanted got back ordered. I cancelled that order and decided to purchase this one instead. I am very happy that happened, because this keyboard fits what I was looking for. The backlit keys are helpful when you want to play a game with the lights off. The bumps on the W key make it easier to find your way back to the directional keys without having to look. It took only a few minutes for me to get used to the keyboard. There are different profiles for the macro keys on the side, so you are not limited to just six strings of commands. Overall, I feel this product was worth the money.

For the price I paid, this keyboard isn't bad. My complaints are the following:

First, for some reason the itype software used for macroing does not work in SWTOR unless I run it as administrator. I've read this happens in games like WoW as well. This means everytime I start my computer, I have to go into my files and run itype as administrator for the macros keys to work.

Second, it shows dust and smudges really easily. That's because it's black and glossy.

Other than that, it's a great non-mechanical keyboard. I'd recommend mechanical if you can, but if not, this is the one to go with for gaming for the 30-35 bucks.

Awesome ergonomic gaming keyboard that is economical. Orange back lited LED keyboard that has 6 programmable buttons for making combos in games such as DMC 5 or Prototype 2. There are typical music buttons, from volume to play buttons are available. Calculator button is provided for quick access to make quick calculations.

The one that I purchased from Amazon Warehouse Deal have a few buttons written in some French or Latin even though it serves the same function - but I don't really mind about it much since I memorized most of them.

Overall, 10 out of 10. Economical, ergonomic and efficient.

I originally purchased a Logitech G110, and you can go to my review of that to see why I returned it. I then opted for the less expensive Sidewinder X4, and I am blown away at how much better it is than my first purchase. The keyboard feels solid and has a good weight to it. The keys are well constructed and have a uniform feel. The backlighting is flawless, nothing more to say there. For years I have been purchasing Logitech accessories, but the Sidewinder may have now swayed me to stick with Microsoft in the future.

As I stated in the product review title, zero complaints, no defects noted. Well done.

Pros: Just about everything. Solid feel. Nice key action and solid base. Love the little calculator button as well.

Cons: The illumination could definitely be brighter. Its very low toned and yes there are 3 setting of light. But the 2nd and 3rd you can BARELY see. To put in perspective, in the day if you had it on full brightness settings. You wouldn't really even be able to notice the light honestly. At night, its not too bad but gets the job done.

I would of paid the money for this without the lighting affects regardless. Amazing buy and worth every penny. Shipment was also 2 days early!

A YouTuber I saw had been using this and coincidentally my keyboard had recently broken (a cheap hp keyboard). It looked nice and he said it was great and had been using it for a year so I bought it when I saw the price. It's worked out great and the driver it has is automatically installed since its Microsoft. Great macros, great everything! It has some weight to it so it never slips. I couldn't have asked for better for the price. If your disapproved by the lack of mechanical keys don't be. It has a tightening so its never a problem and its fairly quiet. Just get it, it beats many other keyboards by far.

I have been using this keyboard for a few weeks and I am very happy with it. As far as gaming goes, the anti ghosting is flawless, and the W key has two small bumps on it (great for those using WADS) The macro keys cool, but not exceptionally useful for the things I do. Oh and the media keys work awesomely with itunes, people were complaining that they only work with Media Player but that is false. It's also a very comfortable keyboard for typing. The appearance is awesome, the keys give off a red glow, all in all I'm very happy with this keyboard, you won't find anything better in this price range.

I bought this keyboard because it would handle many simultaneous key-presses, and not lose or mask-out any of them. It works very well in that regard, which is what I needed. I liked its lower price than other keyboards that could do the same thing.

The only minor negatives on it, are that the "F" and the "J" keys have special attachment joints, so I can't re-arrange the keys to fit the Dvorak keyboard arrangement I use. The other minor negative, is that the function-keys are too small to be read at the usual distance from my face I use - I have to bend closer to read them.
