5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE IT! But there is only a couple down sides :) :)
This phone is absolutely wonderful for a young teenager girl or boy, I don't really reccommend this phone for older adults. I have this phone and I LOVE IT! It is wonderful! The only downsides is there is no real screen saver...and you can't forward txt's but thats alright! I love this phone and REALLY reccommend it!

2.0 out of 5 stars Didn't live up to my expectations...
This phone is a fine little messaging phone, but it is by no means spectacular.

Texting is easy, even one handed, it has a long battery life, and the camera and video quality is very good, but...

-You can't delete just one
-You can't resend a txt if the recipiant had a hard time getting it

2.0 out of 5 stars Didn't live up to my expectations..., April 17, 2011
This review is from: Microsoft KIN ONE Windows Phone (Verizon Wireless) (Wireless Phone)
This phone is a fine little messaging phone, but it is by no means spectacular.

Texting is easy, even one handed, it has a long battery life, and the camera and video quality is very good, but...

-You cannot forward a text
-You can't delete just one
-You can't resend a txt if the recipiant had a hard time getting it
(so basically, once the txt is sent, you can't select it again)
-There is no "drafts" box
-You can't "lock" a txt to keep it from being erased (not necessary, but something I was used to)
-Even to other verizon phones, if the message is more than 160 characters, it sends it as 2 txts
-And it doesn't inform you of how many characters you've typed, so sometimes the second txt will just be the last "." at the end of your previous text.
-The screen locks, but the volume buttons on the side remain active, so if the phone is in your pocket, it is very easy for it to turn itself off.
-The volume is VERY low, even on high, and it is hard to hear the phone going off.
-And the vibrate is low as well, and is hard to feel
-The phone doesn't show you the time texts were sent/recieved
-It has no arrow keys, the only way to get somewhere is by touching the screen, which is normally ok, but inconvenient when correcting a text. I've had the phone for 3 days and have already accidentally sent a txt when simply trying to correct a typo many times.
-I've yet to find a way to have an alarm JUST vibrate, even when the phone is set to only do that.

Overall, the phone's lack of basic features is very disappointing, and I don't recommend it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Cute, but...., June 8, 2011
This review is from: Microsoft KIN ONE Windows Phone (Verizon Wireless) (Wireless Phone)
Well, it's basically a nice phone. The size is pretty cute and it has a great camera, plus I like the WiFi and email, but there are some things I really don't like. I don't text, so I know nothing about that. However, I do need it for important calls related to my jobs and from my family and it only recieves calls about 75% of the time which is terribly inconvienient when someone needs to urgently get in touch with me and my phone doesn't even show a missed call. It also tends to not show voicemails. It does do a good job of showing me missed calls (when it gets them) and the calendar and keyboard are great. I think it would be pretty cool if it was able to sync with the Microsoft Outlook calendar, but maybe that's just me. :) Good phone overall, though.

5.0 out of 5 stars Yes! I actually own this phone!, June 21, 2010
This review is from: Microsoft KIN ONE Windows Phone (Verizon Wireless) (Wireless Phone)
Well I noticed a few negative news articles about the alleged slow sales of this phone so I decided to pony up and write a quick review. First off I got this phone because I was sick of all the touchscreen hype and I wanted something that was both compact but also full featured (also wanted an actually keypad for texting). This phone fits the bill perfectly for what I was looking for. I am able to easily access all the features I enjoy in a simplified manner which is more streamline then most other smart phones I have seen. Battery life and cell service have been excellent and I have even had a few complements on the size and design. Overall its a solid phone with solid features and those looking to branch out from the standard smartphone designs will be happily surprised at this new offering.
