Dear buyers

Please be aware of those cheap office professional 2003. After buying it, make sure you call up Microsoft to verify whether your copy is an original copy. I had mine verified and found out to be a counterfeit copy.

Best Office Version out there. Works great and it still does automatic updates along with Windows. Great price for a legal version.

If you hate Office 2007, or are in a work environment that demands everyone be using the same version of office. Get this.
2003 was a great product.
Or don't get it, so when I need a new copy, there are some left.

I recently purchased office 2003 to install on a new computer running windows 7. I was looking for compatibility with a networked older computer without the expense of upgrading office on the other computer. The software that arrived was an OEM version, although it wasn't advertised as such. As a user who knows just enough to be dangerous, I experienced a great deal of difficulty installing the software. Every time I tried to run setup, I got an error message and the process quit after entering the product key. I eventually gathered enough info from Google and completed the installation as follows: 1. Run as administrator and set security to permit the program to change your computer. 2. Accept windows 7's recommendation to install in windows xp compatibility mode. 3. Manually run visual basic script file from installation disk and enter product key. 4. Manually start setup.exe. Everything seems to be working fine now.

I received this software from the seller via expedited mail. It was new and works fine as promised.

Vendor intially sent the wrong product but then sent the right version. The problem is that I had already purchased a replacement. Now I will probably sell the extra one. He made good but should have emailed me right away after I notified him. Windows office 2003 is however the stable version I needed.
