1.0 out of 5 stars I got what I paid for
I tried to save money to buy this book through other means (aka not the college bookstore) and what a mistake. It cam without a CD and a much needed card to access on-line assignments. I have been unable to contact the sellers to inquire about where this stuff went that cam with a "new" book. Was this book cheaper? Yes! Did I pay for it anyway? Sadly, yes.

3.0 out of 5 stars Watch out for "New", January 30, 2009
This review is from: Microsoft Office 2007: Introductory Concepts and Techniques, Windows Vista Edition (Shelly Cashman) (Hardcover)
I bought this book because I thought since it said "new" it would contain the CD. The book is nice (hard back - which I didn't realize either), but I just didn't expect it to be so heavy & without the CD. After going over Amazons website, I noticed that CD's are not normally included, but what does "new" mean then?

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Introductory Textbook, October 1, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This book is a great introductory textbook, helping you step by step to learn how to work Word, Excel and Access correctly. It also give helpful little hints and shortcuts here and there throughout the book.

If you already know how to use the MS Windows programs, you think you know how to use everything until you start doing the exercises in this book, and then you realize that you've been missing out on how to use it more efficiently!

5.0 out of 5 stars Comprehensive and well done~~, August 9, 2010

I am currently teaching my first undergraduate level course & this book has been extremely helpful. This book is a very easy read; it is also very comprehensive and well done. I like the inclusion of the step-by-step instructions, which can be easily be walk through during a class session. The students also have said they used these instructions to complete the labs assigned. If/when I teach another class, this series of books will be my primary choice.

4.0 out of 5 stars Review for Microsoft Office Textbook, September 3, 2009
I had a very good experience with this seller. The book was in pretty good condition and I thought it was suppose to come with cds. Once it got to me and there were none the seller quickly worked with me to give me a refund for what I had thought I bought. They were very easy to work with and I would recommend them.
