2.0 out of 5 stars don't waste your money
I have only found it useful once so far. If you like reading and want to read the book, it's great, but if you just need quick reference to do something specific, it's a waste. Office 2007 is very different from 2003 version in that they've moved things around to different areas, so I know the old commands, I just can't find them in 2007. I thought the book would help...

I had office 2002 and then 2007, with many changes as well as many improvements I felt knew what I wanted to do but didn't know where to find it. This book is easy to read so I could move on quickly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Information clearly put and easily understood, October 14, 2011
This review is from: Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 Plain & Simple (Paperback)
This was the textbook for my Microsoft Office diagnostics class in college. I only needed information from the book on a few occasions, but each time I needed information, it was easy to find and very clearly stated. It's nice that the book is printed in full color, too.

1.0 out of 5 stars Poorly indexed, can't find anything in it!!, February 15, 2011
By
This review is from: Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 Plain & Simple (Paperback)
My biggest problem with this book is the inability to find anything in it. The index in the back is particularly useless. For example: I am just learning to use Outlook, so often I need to look up how to do a particular thing, like examine the schedules of my coworkers so I can schedule a meeting. Neither the table of contents nor the index helps me find the section on the book that deals with that. As another reviewer stated, if you want to read the whole book and learn where everything is, great. But if you want to pick it up for a quick reference on how to do a particular function, choose another book.

They cater to the big guys. If you have a small business you won't be able to transfer files, back up, copy, etc.
Total waste of money.
