It had one tiny paragraph that was relevant to my specific needs although it appeared to be very detailed..

They usually have more information than other books, easy to read and understand, well laid out.

This is a book to have at your fingertips. When you get to a little quirk, it is easy to go to the index and get the easily understood answer.
Totally money well spent.

As usual with all the Dummies books I have or have read, this one is excellent. It makes everything clear. Besides it's fun to read.

I've enjoyed the book. You can't possibly remember everything presented. I will probably read it again once I've had an opportunity to do some hands-on projects. The book/subject is well organized and should make it easy to reference anything I need to know. I would recommend this book particularly for the beginner.

To have this reference book on my iPad makes it handy to reference things as needed. A good book to look that suggests a way to approach desktop publishing. Newsletters, etc.

It has some good info in it, but I would have like to have some kind of CD to actually practice examples, I recommend to any who like to work with computer or desktop publishing.

I purchased this aid when buying MS Publisher. Since MS does not include any kind of manual, this aid has been very valuable as I have tried to "swim" through Publisher. It contains far more than I ever expect to need, but at leaset it is there when I need it in fairly simple "non-geek" language.

The book arrived in fine shape, but I was hoping for a more simplified quick & dirty resource. No one's fault, but my own. I would normally check out the book online before ordering, but this time I was in a hurry to order the software and wanted the book at the same time. It's definitely thorough; I'll just need more set aside more time to learn.
