My old battery cover fell apart into several pieces after a drop to a tile floor. This replacement cover seems to be much stronger, like it is a single plastic mold rather than two or three pieces glued together. It fits perfect and you almost can't tell from outside that it's a replacement part. I was also having problems with the batteries losing contact fairly easily before, and that problem was resolved with this new cover.

I had used a play-and-charge kit for the longest time with my controller but eventually got sick of the wires. I figured I'd use rechargeable batteries and just quickly swap them out as necessary (which actually makes the controller a hell of a lot lighter too), but couldn't find the damn battery housing! So I scoured Amazon looking for a solution, and sure enough found this. A single penny, 3.99 in shipping, and less than a week later, I had my new battery cover. I could even turn this in to a gamestop for cash and they wouldn't be able to tell it wasn't the original battery cover. A very good purchase if you need a quick fix or replacement.

Not really much else to say about this. Like another review stated, it does feel a bit sturdier then the original, but with this also comes the fact that it is a much tighter fit then the original. The reason this is a downside is that its kind of a pain the remove if you need to change the batteries. Just a minor thing, but still worth mentioning. All together I give it a 4 out of 5.

If you happen to lose yours, buy this and then find the old one :P Then you have got yourself a back up controller battery pack. Its works just like the real deal and is very cheap.

Ordered this and received it quickly from the review. It fits perfectly and feels great. It doesn't have the sticker the original covers have, but since I was throwing the original away, I just peeled it off and put it on this replacement. Really the only complaint I have is that I thought it would be white, but the one I received was black. But this is an exceedingly minor thing to gripe about, especially since it has solved all the issues my previous cover had. Great product overall!

It's difficult to say for certain that you will receive the exact same item that I received because this is not sold directly by Amazon, and there's no apparent part number or manufacturer ID on the item. That said, the battery cases I received appear, upon reasonably close inspection to be completely identical to the original Microsoft battery cases, minus both a sticker which serves no function and a small square of foam inside which makes batteries a bit harder to get out but doesn't seem to make a difference in function. If you lost or broke a battery case for a wireless 360 controller, go ahead an order one of these. The seller I got mine from was VideoGameAdvantage.

I wish I had read the rechargeable battery warning review before I bought this. It is much tighter than the legit battery holder and scraped my rechargeable battery a bit when I tried to put one in. I did not force it since the battery costs more than the holder and did not want to ruin it. Luckily a friend traded me his since he doesn't use rechargeable batteries. It does work at least, thus 3 stars. I guess if I was stuck with it, I'd take a dremel or drill to it to widen the spaces.

Bought this replacement Xbox 360 remote battery cover... Works perfect. No problems..only wish it was black, but it does the job. will buy again!

This is a great replacement part. It was a little snug trying to fit rechargeable batteries, but we just removed the outer paper and now it fits fine. Can't beat the price.

After reading the reviews on this product i was excited to use my batteries in it and start saving money. I popped the batteries in and voila!... it didn't work, I tested all three battery covers I purchased and none of them worked. I used four different AA batteries, put them in correctly, also incorrectly to make sure the picture showing which direction they go in wasn't wrong, nothing worked. I finally took my batteries and put them in one of my old xbox controller covers and it worked right off the bat! Since they weren't working and I was going to throw them out anyways, I decided to cut out as much of the thin wall as I could which divides the two batteries from each other inside the cover, after I did this it started working. So I did this to the other 2 I ordered and now my batteries work in those as well! To add to it they do fit a little bit looser now which is a good thing because it was scraping the outside of the batteries off before. They do work well now so I give this product 4 stars for working well but only 2 for the fact that it didnt work at all at first and I had to experiment to get it to work. Maybe I just got unlucky and received 3 bad covers but the experimenting proved successful.. so now I am pleased!
