4.0 out of 5 stars Nice bag. Does not fit a 17" screen, November 22, 2007
This review is from: Microsoft Rolling Laptop Case - Ambassador (Personal Computers)
Nice sturdy bag. Excellent built quality. Has a lot of pockets for smaller item in the front. Can easily fit a mouse and charger plus many other things in the last compartment. Has a sleeve to keep your laptop safe, and is actually very handy.

However, I got this bag for a 17" widescreen laptop. This bag was advertised as "Fits 17 inch screens", but the sleeve cannot fit a 17". The bag can fit the size, but does not have any cushions or protection to safeguard your laptop. So I use it for another 15" that I have.

Excellent for travellers... it fits into the overhead bins of smaller aircrafts too. Because of the many pockets and compartments, the bag is very bulky. The roller is sturdy and has a long handle. I use the bag only when travelling and use just the sleeve locally... works for me!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very convenient case, September 2, 2007
This review is from: Microsoft Rolling Laptop Case - Ambassador (Personal Computers)
I purchased this laptop case a month ago. I was looking for something convenient and light to relax my back and to follow me across many airports in the country.
So far this case has delivered: wheels are great, it is light and sturdy, the case for overnight shirt can include gears for 2 days if you pack up tightly and the small laptop bag is very convenient and light.
Great product that I recommend especially since I had a $50 discount.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent business case if you travel, May 1, 2008

This review is from: Microsoft Rolling Laptop Case - Ambassador (Personal Computers)
Just got mine today from Amazon. I quickly migrated everything I have from another Targus into this one.
I have been hesitating to buy one of these wheeled carry on laptop cases. But which one is good? They all seem over priced and either too big or not enough space/compartments for my needs.
Then a foreign travel trip and a wonderful price on Amazon finally made me flip out my MasterCard to do the damage.
I love it the moment I got it from UPS.
The pictures didn't do justice for this case. One critical part about this case that most others don't have is the bottom protective shield between the two wheels. When you sometimes slid the case down the stairs, the bottom middle section is what gets ripped. This case has a protective shield prevent just that. It shows they put a lot of effort in the production and cut no costs to make a top of the line business carry-on laptop case.
If you need to carry coins, which I sometimes do, this one doesn't have a tiny pouch with zipper which comes in very handy for coins.
Other than that, the design, quality, price, and weight are all perfect. (I got a killer on Amazon when I bought it.)
Like another review, it would be considered a bit bulky if you use it daily without using the last compartment for clothes.
I put tons of stuff in it, and I mean tons.. I have a 15" Macbook Pro with leather protective cover. Now it sits safely in the laptop bag that comes with the case. (It has a velcro piece which can be adjusted to fit smaller laptops. I just used it for additional cushion at the bottom.) This one fits maximum 15.4" laptops only, no way for a 17" lappie to go into this laptop case. 17" laptops might fit in the actual case, but just not the small additional carrying case that comes with it. I have the Sanyo HD700 camcorder in there with a wireless mouse, additional batteries. A mini Microsoft laser mouse. My Taiwanese-English NIV Bible. A whole bunch of breath mints, candies, and cough drops for those presentation meetings. A Logitech presentation remote with laser pointer. Additional SD cards (this one has like 5-6 slots for storing flash media. Nice!) A small high power LED flashlight. Inflatable neck pillow. And my Apple iPhone and the Bose In-ear headphones.

I am a hardcore gadget freak, so I have to put a lot of stuff in my case. This one definitely serves my needs.
I give it a score of 9.99 (10 being perfect) for not having a zippered coin pouch.
It's worth every penny if it is under $90.

5.0 out of 5 stars A little bigger than expected, but good product., March 15, 2008

Initially, I had purchased this simply so I didn't have to carry my laptop and a few office supplies on my shoulder. Turns out this was just a bit on the bulky side for my application. Great piece of luggage for day trips (or a couple days). For me, not so practical for everyday "walking to the office" use.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent bag, but it will count as your carry-on if you like the aisle, July 19, 2008

I've had this bag for about a year now and it is really excellent. The construction has held up well, there are plenty of pockets for all your varying gear which I love, multiple zip pouches, card holders, and a nice storage compartment on the back you can probably get about 2 days of clothes in if you don't mind having to re-iron your shirt collars.

My only gripe is that it doesn't fit well under the aisle seat storage of some aircraft, so it will count as your carry on. No problems getting it under the middle of aisle seats in the planes I travel in most often <Continental-configured 737-<300/500/800/900>, 757.> This is a pretty minor complaint, and there are some smaller offerings that will. It's just a trade off for the size of the bag.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just what a traveling person needs, May 11, 2008

this rolling laptop case is great. It has plenty of pockets for just about everything you would ever need for. I like how those pockets are in a bright orange, a nice contrast from the black that covers the outside. I have a 15.4" laptop and it fits perfect in the little zipper case. the pocket itself will hold up to a 17" laptop. which is good if you ever upgrade, you can keep the bag. the materials look and feel like quality. the handle comes up and goes down with no trouble and has it's own zipper to conceal it if needed. I went from a bagack that hardly had any room to this roller that is now half empty because of all the room i have.

5.0 out of 5 stars Saves my shoulders and keeps me organized., October 16, 2009

Have been traveling between Atlanta and Wisconsin for the past year. Learned early on in the process that I needed to get my laptop off my shoulder and on the floor. This is a very sturdy case with plenty of room to keep the files and I have to carry back and forth. It is holding up very well, after 30+ trips. My favorite features are: 1) the telescoping handle which slides up and down with incredible ease 2) the removable sleeve that protects my laptop in the bins at the airport 3) Plenty of pockets that make it unnecessary for me to carry a separate purse. My work life is in this bag and I wouldn't want to be without it.

I purchase this case for my wife who has to cart her Laptop and files into work. She was always complaining that her old bag had no wheels and the revolving door was too small for all the stuff she was carrying into work.

This case made her very happy. There are alot of different compartments and one day she was even able to fit 2 laptops in it!!

I had been using a messenger style bag to hold my laptop, portable drives, repair and software discs, and other tools...pretty much my whole office but it was putting a "hurtin" on my back and legs. Well, this bag is helping me continue to work without the strain on my back and legs. Seems durable and since it has a flat wide base, when I do have to pick it up it, the weight is easier to handle than with my old bag. There are plenty of pen and small to medium pocket compartments for all of your other smaller items and an accordion type compartment to hold your file folders and papers. So it also keeps you organized.
