I have been using this product since early 2001. I wouldn't think of replacing it. Very easy to open it and go right to work. Just so you understand that I have a fair amount of experience with this software, I have more that 15,000 digital image files at this time and most of them have been processed through PictureIt.
The only reason I don't use it exclusively is that about 2, maybe 3 years ago Micrsoft stopped supporting it. It worked well in Windows XP but defaults a lot in Vista. I love it that,when I first installed it to my laptop and received the message "Unknown Author". I found that if I use it as "Administrator" I can still use it. Last fall I took an 8 week, 4 hours per class, on using Adobe Elements 6.0. That is an impressive program, lots of capabilities, definitely more in depth than Picture-It can offer - but - very difficult to be fluent with. I can do more with 5 minutes of PictureIt than I can do with 30 minutes of Elements. I have to believe that Microsoft got an offer too good to pass up and sold out to Elements. MS is in the PC business, not digital photography. Rich Gray , 15,000 images and a lot more to do.

This was advertised by this seller as Used (very good condition). It could have been sold as New, as the condition I received it in, I would not have been wiser. I can vouch for this sellers honesty. The condition was so pristeen I could have been fooled. The shipment date I received from Amazon.com was March 15 to March 24. I received it on March 15th and it was very well packed to evoid breakage. Job well done, with a note on it, Thank you. Even the way I package it is still possible that a CD case could get damaged in the mail. If that does happen please let me know and I will send a replacement case at no charge. Thank you again.
To this I say, the way it was packaged, I could only blame the post office for gross negligence if it was damaged. To the seller, I say thank you and don't ever change what you do, honesty goes a long way.

This photo program looked, at the outset description to be the program I originally had, but it was not and I didn't even bother to download it. Bad purchase.
